Understanding Breeding Terminology

Our Breeds:

F1 Mini Golden Doodles

F1B Petite & F1B Micro Golden Doodles

F1B Mini Cavapoos

F1B Petite Golden Doodles

Purebred Golden Retrievers

Purebred English Cream Retrievers

Purebred Poodles

Multi-Generation Doodles

What’s the difference between F1 & F1B?

The “F” in F1 stands for the generation and the “1” means the first generation, so an F1 means the breeding of two purebred dogs of different breeds (for example:  A purebred golden retriever bred with a purebread Poodle).

The “B” in F1B stands for “back cross.”  This means an F1 dog is bred “back” to a purebred parent (example:  an F1 Golden Doodle is bred to a purebred Poodle to give an F1B Golden Doodle).

How do you define Micro, Petite, and Mini?

First, understand that everyone names sizes and weights differently.  Our puppies weights are as follows:

Micros range between 8-14 pounds when fully grown.

Petites range between 12-23 pounds when fully grown.

Minis range between 25-35 pounds when fully grown.

Puppy Price $3,500 - $5,500

To reserve a place on our puppy waiting list, first complete an online application, then a deposit fee ($500) is required. A deposit must be received before you will be on our puppy waiting list. The deposit is credited towards your final adoption price, which must then be paid before puppy delivery. If you require our Flight Nanny delivery service (out-of-state), there is an additional fee which will vary depending on the arrival airport you request.
