At Vogelsberg Family Farm, we strive to care for all our dogs and give them the individual love and attention they deserve. Which is why we lean on our family and closest friends to be “Guardian Homes” for our Mother and Father dogs. We can better manage all their needs, and guarantee they receive all the deserved love and attention. As our puppies are born, we perform health, genetic, and temperament testing and give them to our closest family and friends. In return, our family and friends also enjoy the companionship and blessing of these guardian angels. These dogs will become the parents of the puppies we raise for you!  

When the moms are of age and ready to have puppies, we meet with the Guardian Home families and the Veterinarian, to ensure the mother is healthy and it’s safe for the guardian dog to have puppies.  When they are ready to deliver their puppies, they come back to Vogelsberg Family Farm and we help raise and train their puppies. The Guardian Homes come over often to visit with their dog and love on the puppies. When it is safe, the mother returns to their Guardian Home.
